Creating Museum Media for Everyone (CMME), a collaborative project of the Museum of Science, the WGBH National Center for Accessible Media, Ideum, and Audience Viewpoints, will further the science museum field's understanding of ways to research, develop, and evaluate digital interactives that are inclusive of all people.

CMME IS FUNDED BY THE NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION

Through two innovative workshops, CMME brought individuals from many fields together to generate ideas for interactive learning environments. Museum professionals from a variety of institutions and individuals with expertise related to formal science/special education, technology product development, gaming, accessible technologies, universal design, human computer interfaces, and people with disabilities shared their knowledge of innovative designs. CMME culminated in a larger effort to develop exemplar exhibits and a comprehensive digital DIY Toolkit.
